Proxy Voting Rules

As a committee member, you may not always be able to attend meetings.  In the even that you are unable to attend a meeting during which you know we will be voting on an issue, you are able to cast a proxy vote.  In order to cast a proxy vote, follow these steps:

1. Write a letter of intent, stating how you will vote and who you have assigned to vote on your behalf. (We will be drafting an example letter than you can use

2. Choose a person to cast your vote by proxy. The person you choose must live in your precinct and cannot be a current member of the committee.

3. Your proxy must attend the meeting in your stead, cast the vote you instructed, and submit the proxy vote letter to the Recording Secretary.
