Ted Kennedy Memorial Scholarship Recipient

Congratulations to Shayne Pattillo, this year's Ted Kennedy Memorial Scholarship recipient. Shayne was awarded the $1000 scholarship this morning at our monthly Altoona Dems Breakfast.

A returning adult student at Penn State Altoona, Shayne majors in Electro-Mechanical Engineering. Shayne graduated from Bedford High School and has served in the Marines. After the Marines, he rekindled a love of computers and became a programmer through self-study. His love of computers eventually led him to Penn State Altoona, where he hopes to finish his degree.

He believes strongly in the principles of the Democratic Party and that the Democratic Party is truly the party that supports the American people.
